Guerrilla Gardening: "You Have to Think Like a Drug Smuggler"

This organization is amazing! Here is a video of Guerrilla Gardener founder Richard Reynolds engaging in an outright war against dilapidated public space in the streets of London. His purpose is simple: to improve the lives of people and their surroundings by planting plants in spaces that have been neglected. What's amazing is that the people who live nearby not only love what the organization is doing, but are part of the planting platoon.

This is community involvement at it's finest, as people gain a sense of responsibility and belonging to their immediate surroundings in the often green-forgotten urban landscape. You can learn more and get involved at their website here to be a part of this much needed gardening revolution. Also, note his remark (which I love) that " you have to think like a drug smuggler," exciting!
